Acid Test is the feature film directorial debut of Texas filmmaker Jenny Waldo based on her own tumble through self-discovery as a teen.

Celebrating over 70% women and/or people of color in its cast and crew, including a female writer/director, cinematographer and sound designer, the film premiered at the 2021 Austin Film Festival and enjoyed a fantastic festival run, finishing at the 2022 Dances with Films Festival at the iconic Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.  Now available on digital platforms, the film was recently nominated for a Houston Film Critics Society Award!
